Father-Daughter team John and Megan May joined LIVING WELL Magazine as publishers of Salt Lake City LIVING WELL Magazine. Their inaugural Spring 2011 issue will debut in April with expansion plans throughout the Wasatch Front. John and his wife Shawna are life-long residents of Utah, John growing up in Bountiful and Shawna in Sugarhouse. Megan, the youngest of three is currently finishing her degree in Mass Communications at the University of Utah, following in her father’s footsteps, John, who graduated with an MBA from the University of Utah’s College of Business.
John and Megan both bring unique talents to LIVING WELL Magazine and look forward to launching this community focused magazine in Utah. Megan says “I look forward to applying what I’ve learned at the U of U and bringing LIVING WELL Magazine to my community to educate and inform our local population of baby boomers and seniors. Working alongside my father is an added bonus, I feel we both bring unique skill sets and talents to the Utah market.”
“As this segment of our population increases, I’ve noticed a real need for quality education and answers to questions targeted to this specific audience. As I’ve moved into this segment myself, I have found it difficult to find education and information that’s important to not only my health, but also my lifestyle. My siblings and I found ourselves assuming the responsibility as primary caregivers for our parents and a source like Salt Lake City LIVING WELL Magazine would have been invaluable to educate us on a variety of topics,” says John May.
