IOH Receives National and State Recognition for Patient Satisfaction

Owned by the OrthoIndy physicians, IOH is central Indiana’s first specialty hospital with a direct focus on bone, joint, spine and muscle care and the most technologically advanced facility available for orthopaedic care in the Midwest.
IOH was built when OrthoIndy physicians saw an increasing need to provide specialized orthopaedic care in a patient-focused environment. Designed by orthopaedic physicians and healthcare architects, IOH is light, airy and modern, offering patients, as well as their family members, a comfortable and home-like environment. IOH now has two additional facilities, located in Brownsburg and Greenwood, featuring outpatient surgery, MRI and physical therapy.
Services provided by IOH will enable patients to return to a more active lifestyle, quicker and in most cases, with less pain. Because of advancements in medical technology, many of the surgeries performed at IOH can be completed on an outpatient basis, consisting of patient stays lasting 23 hours or less. For patients who are undergoing more invasive procedures, IOH provides inpatient care with round-the-clock patient-focused services and staff.
IOH is a physician-owned hospital model, which provides patients with high quality care with the physician being involved in every aspect of the patient’s treatment. With the physicians playing the role of the patient advocate, they personally decide what type of treatment is most appropriate and beneficial, putting the care of their patients first and not focusing on the financial bottom line.
IOH has received national and state recognition for patient safety and patient satisfaction, proving that its physician-owned model provides patients with the best outcomes.
