A new magazine, with a very special focus, is arriving in Linn County, Iowa. Linn County LIVING WELL Magazine is filled with useful, engaging information for Baby Boomers and their families. Best of all, every issue – not just the introductory issue – is complimentary to subscribers and readers.
Tom and Mary Smart joined LIVING WELL as publishers of Linn County LIVING WELL Magazine. Their inaugural summer 2011 issue will debut in July. The Smarts are long-time Linn County residents and, after spending 21 years in the telecommunications field, the couple are looking forward to helping baby boomers navigate life after 50.
Linn County LIVING WELL Magazine is a high-quality, full-color publication printed on glossy stock. The articles and stories in Linn County LIVING WELL Magazine are written by local professionals and address the concerns and interest of readers 50 and older. Emphasis is on providing relevant, useful information on health and wellness issues, along with legal and financial topics, and lifestyle news.
Starting Linn County LIVING WELL Magazine is important to the Smarts. Both Tom and Mary found themselves at a crossroads when dealing with aging family members. Mary dealt with moving her ill grandmother to another state. Meanwhile, Tom went through many trials with his aging parents. “I wasn’t aware of the resources available to help with the situation,” explains Tom. “It also made us realize we hadn’t done much planning ourselves.” By publishing Linn County LIVING WELL Magazine, they’re looking forward to helping families in similar situations.
LIVING WELL Magazine (formerly SENIOR Magazine) is in its fifth year of successfully publishing magazines.
