The age 55-restricted community of Terra Mariae is located just three miles north of Covington. While convenient to shopping, cultural activities, restaurants, and area medical facilities, Terra Mariae maintains a country ambiance. All home sites have expansive green-space views in a park-like setting.
An active home owner association is responsible for maintaining front yards, green-space and common amenities. The Architectural and Covenants Review committees ensure the community character will be maintained over time. Quarterly dues of $225 cover the amenities previously noted plus garbage pickup. Terra Mariae offers a variety of home plans that can be modified to individual taste. Custom home plans are also available. Most homes range from 1,500 to 2,000 square feet of living area, with 1,500 square feet the minimum size. The home style is French Country. Upscale architectural requirements create a continuous style and level of detail throughout the community. Minimum lot size is 55’ by 110’, and cul-de-sac home sites are available.
Home prices start at $199,000, including the home site. Once a home site is selected and building plans are finalized, use of an approved builder is required to ensure consistency of quality, fair pricing and compliance with community guidelines. Assistance will be provided to prospective homeowners throughout: from lot selection, to finalizing home plans and home construction. Three home plans with detailed pricing are available for review.
