SENIOR Magazine discusses how mindset can spell success for entrepreneurs and home based business owners.(Part 9 of 12) 

According to Bob Reiss in his new book “Bootstrapping 101”, there are 12 attitude attributes that can put you in the right mindset for achieving entrepreneurial success.  Here is number 9. 

Encourage and accept criticism graciously. Admit your mistakes
You need to constantly work on convincing your employees that it’s okay–even necessary–to state their honest opinions even it if conflicts with the boss’s opinion. Just stating it once or putting it in a mission statement won’t cut it for most people. 

While a SENIOR Magazine franchisee does not need employees, the above statement is just as applicable to clients, members of the community you come into contact with, other franchisees and your franchisor.
