Dr. Ju’s academic career includes a Bachelor’s of Science with honors in Neurobiology and the J.E. Wallace Sterling Award for Scholastic Achievement from Stanford University. He received high honors in all coursework and rotations at Harvard Medical School where he earned his M.D. in 2010. He performed a general surgery internship at Massachusetts General Hospital followed by residency in the Harvard Combined Orthopedic Surgery Residency Program at Massachusetts General. He was the Senior Associate in Orthopedics during his spine fellowship at Emory University.
Dr. Ju is a member of many professional organizations dedicated to the promotion and maintenance of high medical standards and continuing education including the Harvard Medical School Orthopedic Trauma Initiative, North American Spine Society, American Medical Association, and American Academy of Orthopedic surgeons. Dr. Ju has authored dozens of scientific articles and medical book chapters and has presented at numerous national medical meetings and conferences.
Dr. Ju enjoys outdoor activities in his spare time including SCUBA diving, skiing, sailing, and archery. Dr. Ju also enjoys technology, gadgets, and is conversational in Mandarin Chinese.
