Agape is a selfless love, a love that is passionately committed to the well-being of another: a Greek term meaning absolute, universal, unchanging and unconditional love for all people. Agape is the ultimate law. It has the power to rise above all else, to empower passion and friendship and to create a loving environment.
As a business model, Agape applies towards all aspects of how you run your business from your employees and contractors to the clients walking in the door. Agape creates an environment that fosters self love, self care and self discovery. This environment allows for healing, growth and development in all aspects of health: physical, emotional, mental & spiritual (PEMS). Agape can be experienced thru several modalities including craniosacral therapy, integrated energy technique and reiki.
Healing and growth depend on knowing where you have been and what you have experienced. Creating a dialogue between the therapist and client is essential to hearing and fully comprehending the story that the mind, body and soul need to share. Craniosacral therapy fosters the dialogue between the therapist and the client’s “inner physician,” as per Dr John Upledger. The stories and experiences of life are layered one on top of another though the many layers of muscle, fascia and connective tissue of the body. As we unwind the body and release the trauma, the PEMS can truly heal.
Integrated energy technique (IET) supports you in safely and gently releasing limiting energy patterns of your past, empowering and balancing your life in the present, and helps you to reach for the stars as you evolve into your future. Stevan Thayer chose the word “integrated” in the name to convey the healing vision of “integrating the pain of the past, into the power of the present, to bring about the joy of the future.” The mission of IET is to “heal the world one heart at a time.”
Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is based on the idea that an unseen universal life force energy flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one’s energy is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy, healthy and in Agape. The therapist is a conduit for the healing energy of the universe as it flows thru the client and releases blockages that can lead to disease.
