Post-Void Dribbling

Post-void dribbling is “the phenomenon where urine remaining in the urethra after voiding the bladder slowly leaks out after urination. A common and usually benign complaint, it may be a symptom of urethral diverticula or prostatitis.”
That is the Wikipedia definition of post-void dribbling. This sounds very technical, doesn’t it? Well the fact of the matter is, it’s really about gravity and the shape of the male human body more than anything.
Remember that diagram from your high school biology book? The one of the male reproductive system. Remember how many bends and curves that tube has? Post-void dribbling is caused by all those bends and curves.
Think of a garden hose. When you bend it or kink it, it changes the flow of water, right? The water pressure changes based on the shape of the hose. And so it is with the male human body. Don’t be embarrassed by this, gentlemen. There’s nothing wrong with you, and there’s nothing out of the ordinary about you when you experience this. In fact, it is estimated that this is experienced by millions of men, but is rarely diagnosed because it is considered a nuisance rather than a medical problem.
In an episode of CBS’s Two and a Half Men, Alan Harper says, “No matter how you shake and dance, the last few drops fall on your pants.” That is exactly what post-void dribbling is. Those last few drops falling on your pants. It shows up most prevalently on khakis, gray slacks, or any pants that are lighter in color.
So what’s the solution? Stop wearing khakis? Stand at the urinal for an extra 15 minutes? Walk around with toilet paper stuffed in your underwear?
Boyd Murphy came up with a better solution. He created Murphy Overconfident Underwear, which looks and feels like premium underwear, but with a little something extra to stop the spot. They are 100% cotton in the body, with a special layer of nano-treated polyester fabric where men need it. This revolutionary system is known as MX-P Technology. MX-P stands for Murphy Extreme Protection. Post-void dribbling is a caused by nature, but that doesn’t mean you have to stare at the ugly spot in the mirror.
Murphy underware looks and feels like a premium pair of men’s underwear. We like to think of it as men’s underwear, designed and crafted in the way it should have been designed in the first place.
