Silver Key Needs Help to “Stock the Pantry!”
Colorado Springs LIVING WELL Magazine
For over 40 years, Silver Key Senior Services has been providing much needed nutrition assistance to seniors in crisis in the greater Colorado Springs area. The need is even greater today than it was in the early 1970s with more seniors needing help, and fewer resources to go around. While Silver Key works hard to meet the growing demand, we cannot help without the support of our community. In the past few months, our pantry shelves have been depleted and last week, for the first time, we had to refer seniors to other agencies when they asked for emergency food assistance. This month, we are asking our community to help us “Stock the Pantry!”
